AI Augmented BizApps Architect

Responsibilities

• Design robust Azure-based solution architectures that integrate business applications with AI-augmented capabilities to improve operational efficiency and data-driven decision making for complex enterprise environments.
• Define end-to-end integration patterns using Azure API Management to ensure secure, reliable, and scalable connectivity between internal systems, external partners, and cloud-native services.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into technical architectures that align with organizational goals, regulatory expectations, and long-term technology roadmaps.
• Develop detailed high-level and low-level architecture documentation that guides engineering teams in implementing standardized Azure components, reusable APIs, and compliant integration frameworks.
• Optimize application performance and resilience by applying Azure best practices for security, identity management, data storage, networking, and monitoring while balancing cost and scalability.
• Evaluate existing business application landscapes and propose modernization approaches using Azure platform services and API-first principles that reduce technical debt and improve maintainability.
• Guide cross-functional teams in adopting governance models for API lifecycle management, versioning, and access control that enhance interoperability and protect critical business information.
• Apply AI-driven insights and automation capabilities to streamline repetitive operational workflows, improve data quality, and enable intelligent business processes across BizApps solutions.
• Partner with asset management operations experts when relevant to design domain-aware architectures that model assets, events, and workflows in ways that support risk management, regulatory reporting, and operational transparency.
• Conduct architecture reviews and impact assessments for new features and enhancements, ensuring that every change adheres to non-functional requirements for scalability, reliability, observability, and security.
• Support hybrid work collaboration by establishing clear architecture standards, documentation practices, and communication mechanisms that enable distributed teams to deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes.
• Mentor implementation teams on best practices for Azure API Management configuration, policy design, and developer onboarding so that APIs remain easy to consume, maintain, and evolve over time.
• Contribute to organizational technology strategy by identifying emerging Azure services, AI capabilities, and integration approaches that can strengthen the company purpose and generate positive societal impact through more efficient, sustainable operations.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate extensive experience in Azure architecture spanning at least twelve years of designing, implementing, and optimizing complex enterprise solutions with strong focus on scalability, security, and resilience.
• Bring hands-on proficiency in Azure API Management, including design of API contracts, configuration of policies, and establishment of governance models that support consistent, secure integration practices.
• Show practical familiarity with asset management operations or related domains by understanding asset lifecycles, operational workflows, and regulatory drivers that shape architecture decisions even if experience is primarily advisory.
• Possess strong skills in documenting architectures using clear diagrams and descriptive narratives that help engineering and business teams understand dependencies, constraints, and implementation steps.
• Exhibit capability to work effectively in a hybrid model by using collaboration platforms, structured communication, and disciplined self-management to maintain productivity and alignment across locations.
• Apply solid knowledge of cloud security, data protection, and identity management principles, ensuring that every solution meets organizational standards and contributes to trusted business relationships.
• Utilize analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities to diagnose integration issues, performance bottlenecks, and architectural gaps, then propose pragmatic improvements aligned with business priorities.
