- Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage sustaining programs for Tier 1 customers, ensuring successful post-MP execution, customer satisfaction, and timely resolution of technical and operational issues.
- Lead cross-functional teams across Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, BIOS, BMC, Validation, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain to resolve customer-reported product issues.
- Drive end-to-end engineering change management, including EC implementation, BOM updates, hardware and firmware revisions, validation planning, and release execution.
- Coordinate with global stakeholders across the U.S., Taiwan, and manufacturing sites to align priorities, manage deliverables, and ensure on-time program execution.
- Monitor and communicate program health through KPI tracking, risk assessment, mitigation planning, and regular updates to customers and internal leadership teams.
- Partner closely with Product Management, System Leads, Engineering, and Operations teams to ensure alignment on customer commitments, sustaining roadmaps, and business priorities.
- Lead field issue management, including FRU/FA coordination, root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, and closure tracking to improve product quality and reliability.
- Drive lifecycle management initiatives, including cost reduction, alternate sourcing, serviceability improvements, and operational efficiency programs.
Skills Experience
Must-Have
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience managing complex hardware or systems programs within a technology, server, storage, networking, or electronics environment.
- Strong program management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders across engineering, operations, and supply chain functions.
- Experience leading issue resolution, change management, product sustaining, and post-production support activities.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk management capabilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with experience working directly with customers and executive stakeholders.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced global environment and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
Good-to-Have
- Experience supporting enterprise server, data center, cloud, or infrastructure products.
- Knowledge of product lifecycle management (PLM), engineering change processes, and manufacturing operations.
- Familiarity with quality methodologies, root cause analysis, and corrective action frameworks.
- PMP or equivalent program management certification.
