Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced BIOS Engineer to design, develop, and maintain platform firmware solutions across Intel, AMD, and ARM server platforms. This role will focus on UEFI/BIOS architecture, platform enablement, hardware bring-up, and performance optimization for next-generation AI and GPU servers, including NVIDIA HGX, DGX, and Vera Rubin-based systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain UEFI/BIOS firmware for Intel, AMD, and ARM server platforms.
  • Lead platform bring-up activities and debug firmware issues during new product development.
  • Enable and optimize BIOS features for NVIDIA GPU server platforms, including HGX, DGX, and Vera Rubin architectures.
  • Collaborate with hardware, silicon vendors, BMC, OS, and validation teams to ensure system functionality and stability.
  • Integrate and customize BIOS modules, drivers, and firmware components for server and AI infrastructure products.
  • Analyze system boot, memory initialization, PCIe, power management, RAS, and security-related issues.
  • Drive firmware quality improvements through root-cause analysis, debugging, and corrective actions.
  • Support customer escalations and provide technical leadership for complex platform issues.

Skills Experience

Must-Have

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 8+ years of BIOS/UEFI firmware development experience.
  • Strong expertise in UEFI architecture, EDK II framework, and firmware development methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with Intel Xeon, AMD EPYC, and ARM-based server platforms.
  • Deep understanding of system initialization, memory training, PCIe architecture, ACPI, SMBIOS, and power management.
  • Strong programming skills in C/C++ and firmware debugging.
  • Experience with NVIDIA GPU server platforms such as HGX, DGX, or similar AI computing systems.
  • Proficiency in firmware debugging tools, JTAG, logic analyzers, and hardware bring-up processes.
