Position: Advanced Manufacturing and Display Test Engineer

Location: Taipei

Responsibilities/Scope: In this role, you will apply your expertise and ownership through the NPI engineering and production phases to successfully ramp display modules, from upstream components to module assembly/integration and end-of-line test. You will define and own key performance indicators (KPIs) such as yield, process capability, cycle time and OEE, and will devise and lead improvement plans to meet these targets. You will work closely with external partners to proactively identify and resolve technical and operational risks, and drive containment, failure analysis and corrective actions for technical issues.

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physics, Applied Physics, Optics, Material Science OR equivalent experience
• 5+ years of vendor management experience with demonstrated ability to navigate communication channels between internal and external partners
• 3+ years of first-hand experience with optical component and/or module assembly, front-end and back-end processes and testing
• 3+ years of experience managing test development within a high-volume consumer electronics environment
• Good understanding of fundamental optical principles, color spaces, imaging systems, and the manufacturing processes for display and optical modules
• Familiarity with optical alignment methods, active alignment systems, and precision motion control in a factory environment
• Demonstrated experience in defining, developing, and troubleshooting manufacturing test issues
• Knowledge of high-precision assembly equipment, processes, and materials
• Clear verbal and written communication with cross functional partners and management.
