About This Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support a public sector team in the coordination of programmes, events administration, system management and operational processes. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will play a key role in supporting day-to-day operations, stakeholder coordination and the administration of critical systems and initiatives.
The ideal candidate is organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
. Coordinate and support the assessment and administration of events and programmes
. Prepare, collate and maintain event-related documentation, administrative briefs and supporting materials
. Assist in the development and scheduling of social media and communications content
. Conduct monthly system audits and ensure records are maintained accurately
. Manage system access administration, including account creation, updates and access controls
. Track, monitor and respond to feedback received through various communication channels
. Maintain proper documentation, records and databases to support operational processes
. Liaise with internal stakeholders to facilitate smooth administrative operations and timely completion of assigned tasks
. Provide general administrative support and undertake ad-hoc duties as assigned
Requirements:
. Diploma qualification in any discipline
. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently
. Meticulous, resourceful and able to work independently
. Good written and verbal communication skills
. Prior experience in administration, programme coordination, events support or public sector environments will be advantageous
