Key Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day accounting and administrative work.
- Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
- Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, receipts and statements of account.
- Record and update accounting transactions accurately.
- Follow up on outstanding payments and supplier invoices.
- Assist with bank reconciliation and monthly accounting closing.
- Assist in GST preparation and submission.
- Maintain proper accounting records and supporting documents.
- Assist with payroll and staff-related payments.
- Prepare basic accounting reports for management.
- Liaise with customers, suppliers, auditors, banks and other parties on accounting matters.
- Perform other accounting and administrative duties as required.
Requirements
- Diploma in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- At least 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Good understanding of basic accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable and bank reconciliation.
- Familiar with GST and general accounting procedures.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Experience with accounting software is preferred.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Responsible, organised and willing to learn.
- Construction industry experience is an advantage.
- 5.5 work/week
- Monday to Friday (9 AM to 6 PM)
- Saturday (9 AM to 1 PM)
