General Summary

To join Qualcomm Customer Engineering team and work with world leading Linux base compute device makers from design & develop to commercially launching excitement or new Qualcomm compute SoC products.

Audio software application engineering role requires audio system architecture expertise working in Audio Software DSP technologies, Windows Audio S/W Architecture, Linux Audio Framework, and Google Audio technologies to join the Customer Engineering team.

This role will involve supporting OEMs/Tier-1/Tier-2s with Audio Digital Signal Processing (DSP) and audio system architecture feature-specific customizations and tuning across Windows, Linux, and Google platforms from proof of concept to final product commercial launches.

Responsibilities In This Role Shall Include The Following

• Customize Windows, Linux, and Google platform audio software drivers for OEM
• Co-work with cross functional teams in Qualcomm to speed up the solutions to customer problems
• Require the ability to understand and explain technical information in a concise manner with strong communication skills between customers and developers
• Provide the Audio performance measurement, analysis, and optimization
• Create application notes, technical memo, and provide training to customers
• Support Audio/Voice system's algorithm tuning and debugging on Windows, Linux, and Google platforms
• Provide audio tuning support to help customers pass Google AVL and Microsoft Real Time Communications(RTC) certification
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.
  
  

OR

Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.

OR

PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.

• 2+ years of experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
• 1+ year of experience with debugging techniques.
