Job Responsibilities:
. Perform the full spectrum of the purchasing process
. Review & verify the purchase requisition by the project team
. Prepare purchase orders to achieve the most favourable economic and delivery terms
. Ensure purchasing documents are approved in accordance with the authorization matrix
. Negotiate with the supplier for seeking possibilities of improvement on pricing, product quality, & deliveryarrangement
. Attending to technical matters such as arranging service technicians for breakdown/repairs and equipment for annual calibration
. Follow up closely with suppliers and advise the Project Team on delivery arrangements.
. Handle non-conforming supplies
. Supervise and monitor store department activities and conduct periodic stock count
. In charge of Fixed Asset and Inventory Management.
. Prepare a monthly inventory report for the Account Dept
. Maintain the supplier's database
. Adhere closely to the company's Purchasing Procedures and ISO Standards
. Provide on-the-job training for new staff
. Liaise with the driver for daily logistics arrangements.
. Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
. Diploma with at least 3 years of experience in the construction industry
. Knowledge of the synergic/ ERP System is an advantage
. Experience in planning, purchasing, and inventory management
. Proficiency in MS Office applications
. Good communication and interpersonal skills
.
Able to work 5.5 days per week.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. alternate Saturdays, 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
