Accounts Manager

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Manager to oversee the full set of accounts and support the company's financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting functions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and maintain full sets of accounts up to the balance sheet on a timely basis.
2. Handle 3 sets of accounts in Singapore.
3. Review and understand Malaysia financial statements and perform basic financial analysis.
4. Prepare and consolidate group accounts when required.
5. Manage the classification of accounts, including Chart of Accounts and manufacturing accounts.
6. Prepare financial cash flow statements and monitor cash flow.
7. Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.
8. Prepare regular management reports and provide financial insights to management.
9. Provide advice on tax matters where required.
10. Coordinate and handle financial audits, including liaising with auditors and providing the necessary supporting documents.
11. Ensure proper accounting records and compliance with relevant accounting and statutory requirements.
12. Support management in financial analysis and other accounting-related matters as required.

Requirements

1. Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
2. Strong experience in handling full sets of accounts.
3. Good knowledge and practical experience with ERP systems.
4. Strong knowledge of financial reporting and accounting principles.
5. Experience in preparing budgets and forecasts.
6. Good understanding of cash flow management and financial analysis.
7. Experience in preparing management reports.
8. Able to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple sets of accounts.
9. Good communication and analytical skills.
10. Experience in handling Singapore and Malaysia accounts will be an advantage.
11. Knowledge of Singapore and Malaysia tax regulations will be an added advantage.
