Accounts Executive
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Executive to supportthe finance department in managing day-to-day accounting operations, financialreporting, and compliance matters. The ideal candidate will have strongaccounting knowledge, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to workaccurately in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting Operations
- Handle full or partial sets of accounts, including journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate general ledger records and ensure timely month-end and year-end closing.
- Prepare and process invoices, payments, receipts, and expense claims.
- Reconcile bank accounts, intercompany transactions, and other balance sheet items.
Financial Reporting
- Assist in preparing monthly management reports, schedules, and financial statements.
- Support the finance team in budget tracking, variance analysis, and cash flow monitoring.
- Ensure all accounting records are properly updated and documented.
Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Review supplier invoices and ensure timely payment processing.
- Monitor customer collections and follow up on outstanding receivables.
- Liaise with vendors and customers to resolve billing and payment issues.
Compliance & Audit Support
- Assist with audit preparation and provide supporting documents as required.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and statutory requirements.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation for finance records.
Administrative & System Support
- Support finance-related administrative tasks and reporting requests.
- Assist in maintaining accounting systems and improving processes where necessary.
- Liaise with internal departments, external auditors, banks, and vendors when needed.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional accounting qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent are an advantage.
Knowledge & Experience
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Experience handling full or partial sets of accounts.
- Good understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and basic taxation knowledge.
- Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Preferred Qualifications
