Accounts Executive/ Accountant (Manufacturing Industry)

Job scope

• Manage full-set accounting functions, including AR, AP, GL, GST, financial reporting, reconciliations, intercompany transactions, inventory, and compliance.

• Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing, ensuring timely and accurate reporting in accordance with IFRS.

• Prepare management reports, budgets, forecasts, cash flow reports, and variance analysis.

• Ensure accurate recording of financial transactions and maintain proper supporting documentation for audit and statutory compliance.

• Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure compliance with statutory, GST, XBRL, and ACRA filing requirements.

• Oversee AR and AP processes, including invoicing, collections, vendor payments, bank reconciliations, and customer/vendor master data maintenance.

• Monitor cash flow, banking transactions, and fund transfers to ensure sufficient liquidity.

• Process purchase requisitions, staff claims, customs GIRO transactions, and corporate credit card applications.

• Liaise with internal teams, customers, vendors, auditors, and headquarters on finance-related matters.

• Ensure adherence to financial policies, strengthen internal controls, and drive process improvements.

• Prepare ad hoc financial reports and support corporate secretarial matters, including board resolutions, contracts, permits, and license renewals.

Requirement

• Diploma/ Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred.

• Profound understanding of accounting principles and practices.

• Proficiency in SAP, ERP (any), Microsoft Excel, and accounting software is advantageous.

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Knowledge of Singapore Goods and Service Tax
