Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and analytical Accounting Intern to join our Singapore team in a dynamic startup environment. This internship offers hands-on exposure to accounting operations, financial reporting, and business analysis, providing opportunities to contribute to process improvements and financial projects.

Responsibilities

• Support daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities
• Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and management schedules
• Perform bank reconciliations and review financial transactions for accuracy
• Analyze financial data and identify discrepancies or improvement opportunities
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes
• Participate in process improvement and automation initiatives
• Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for management review
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on finance and business projects

Minimum Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or related disciplines
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting concepts
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis functions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Prior internship experience or familiarity with accounting software is an advantage
