Accountant / Senior Accountant

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Accountant / Senior Accountant to join our growing team in the offshore and marine industry.

As the company is preparing for future corporate expansion and potential IPO initiatives, the candidate should preferably have experience handling accounts and financial reporting for listed companies or companies preparing for listing exercises.

The successful candidate will play an important role in managing the company's financial operations, strengthening internal controls, and supporting management in corporate and financial planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts and daily finance operations
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, statutory requirements, and tax regulations
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, company secretary, and regulatory authorities
• Support budgeting, cash flow monitoring, and financial analysis
• Assist in strengthening internal controls and financial procedures
• Support corporate exercises including IPO preparation, due diligence, and financial restructuring when required
• Monitor project costing, operational expenses, and financial performance
• Prepare management reports and financial presentations for management review
• Support ERP/accounting system improvements and process enhancement initiatives

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related discipline
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience
• Candidates with experience in listed companies, IPO preparation, or audit background will have an added advantage
• Familiar with Singapore accounting standards, taxation, and statutory compliance requirements
• Experience in handling full set of accounts independently
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software systems
• Able to work independently and meet reporting deadlines
• Positive working attitude with good communication and teamwork skills
• Experience in engineering, marine, offshore, or manufacturing industries is an advantage
