The Position
A role has opened up within the Finance team for a driven Finance Accountant to join the team. The role reports to the Finance Controller. You will be responsible for:
Manage the full set of accounts, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets and Construction-in-Progress (CIP).
- Handle month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing, including bank, balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations.
- Prepare financial statements, management reports and supporting schedules for local and Group reporting.
- Support Group reporting and consolidation, including intercompany reconciliations, consolidation adjustments and variance analysis.
- Manage AP, AR and billing activities, including invoice processing, payment runs and customer billing.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow projections and financial analysis, including budget-versus-actual reviews.
- Support Singapore GST, corporate tax, statutory filings and audit requirements, including liaison with auditors and tax agents.
- Assist with finance systems and process improvements, including Yardi, system testing, data migration and strengthening internal controls.
- Ensure accounting activities comply with SFRS, Group accounting policies, internal controls and applicable regulations.
- Work closely with Finance, Operations, Projects and other business functions, and support ad-hoc financial analysis and finance-related projects.
The Person
- The ideal candidate will have at least 4 to 5 years of accounting experience.
- A recognized degree in Accounting or relevant professional accountancy qualifications
- Candidates from accounting firms or outsourced accounting services industry (with exposure to Real Estate or Construction) can be considered.
- Experience with Yardi is an advantage
