Accountant

Job Purpose

The accountant ensures the accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of all financial operations. The position manages accounting, tax compliance, monthly closing, reporting to the Group, and business support.

Job Responsibilities

• Accounting & Financial Operations: Manage full-cycle accounting, AP/AR, bank reconciliations, and alignment with Taiwanese GAAP.
• Monthly & Annual Closing: Prepare financial statements and execute closing tasks.
• Tax & Fiscal Compliance: Ensure compliance with Taiwanese tax regulations and coordinate tax filings.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Support budget preparation, monitor variances, and provide recommendations.
• Internal Controls & Compliance: Maintain internal controls and coordinate audits.
• Business Support: Provide financial analysis and collaborate with Sales, Supply Chain, and Operations.

Job Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Taiwanese accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Experience with group reporting.
• Proficiency with ERPs and advanced Excel.
• Analytical mindset, accuracy, and ability to work independently.
• Fluent in Chinese and English as this role will be based in Taiwan and to liaise with Taiwan stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or equivalent.
• 5–7 years of experience in accounting and tax in Taiwan.
• Experience with audits and tax filings.
• Industrial or B2B experience is an asset.
