Role Description The Account Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Taipei. This role is responsible for managing customer accounts, providing day-to-day banking services, and supporting clients with deposits, loans, and other financial products. The Account Officer will review and monitor account activities, assist with documentation and compliance requirements, and ensure accurate processing of transactions. The role also involves responding to customer inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining strong relationships with individual and corporate clients. The Account Officer will collaborate with internal teams to identify opportunities for cross-selling and contribute to branch performance and service quality.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Finance and the ability to interpret and work with Financial Statements.
  • Well-developed Analytical Skills to assess customer needs, evaluate credit risk, and support account management decisions.
  • Excellent Customer Service capabilities to deliver responsive, courteous, and solution-focused support.
  • Clear and professional Communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with clients and colleagues effectively.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy in handling transactions, and familiarity with banking regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced branch environment, with strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant banking systems and basic office software; Mandarin and English language skills are advantageous.
