As an Account Manager in Sales GIG Datacom, you will grow Molex's Datacom/Telecom business by promoting Molex solutions, developing strong customer relationships, and partnering with internal account teams and divisions to achieve sales revenue targets and profitable design wins.
Our Team
You will work within the
Sales GIG Datacom organization and report directly to the
Sales Director. This role collaborates closely with the broader account team and cross-functional internal teams/divisions to support customer needs for quality, delivery, and share growth.
What You Will Do
- Apply a strong understanding of the Datacom/Telecom market to promote Molex solutions to customers, and partner with the account team to achieve assigned sales revenue targets.
- Build strong, credible, and long-term customer relationships to strengthen Molex's position and influence.
- Identify, develop, and advance new business opportunities, and work with internal division support to secure profitable design wins.
- Coordinate with relevant internal teams and divisions to help ensure quality and delivery performance while maximizing Molex share at the customer.
- Deliver senior-level seminars for customers by sharing Molex's new products and technologies.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- 3+ years of experience in the Telecom/Datacom industry.
- Technical background and account management skills.
- Strong communication skills; open-minded and customer-oriented working style.
- Self-motivated and willing to take on challenging assignments.
- Good command of English.
What Will Put You Ahead (Preferred Qualifications)
- Experience related to one or more of the following areas/products: Datacenter, Router, Switch, Server, with background in PM, Account Management, FAE, Hardware Design, and/or SI.
- Hardware or connector market background experience.
