Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain sales by exploring and qualifying existing accounts as well as following up on leads resulting from marketing prospecting efforts.
  • Main point of contact for customer as issues escalate beyond regular course of business.
  • Work with support team (program management, engineering and factories) to maintain strategic customer focus.
  • Information dissemination: Analyze forecasts, track project status, monitor design opportunities, understand and implement customer goals and objectives, follow market trends, and control the customer's perception of Laird (DuPont)
  • Follow-up and report on customer's awards and forecast commits. Report findings to the business.
  • Work with management to ensure that support team is adequately staffed, trained and positioned to fulfill customer needs.
  • Maintain accurate up to date records and files on all major accounts including sales data, quote records, and customer contacts.
  • Coordinate activities with internal related teams to maximize our ability to close on new business opportunities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or necessary to meet business objectives.
  • Work with legal to respond to customer contracts, programs, and terms & conditions.

Job Requirements

  • Knowledge of Windows applications.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Excellent project management knowledge
  • Drive for results
  • Ability to travel abroad.

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering , Business or Sales.
  • Minimum 8 years of combined experience in sales in the electronics industry.
