Your Job

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing assigned business units within a key customer account and driving profitable growth for Molex. This role owns both new demand creation and defense of existing business, serving as the primary interface between Molex and the customer while educating stakeholders on the value Molex brings. The position operates with a high degree of autonomy and requires close collaboration across multiple internal functions to ensure customer and business success.

Our Team

You will be part of Molex's Account Management within the Global Sales & Marketing organization, working closely with cross‑functional partners across Product Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Finance. This team plays a critical role in aligning customer needs with Molex's capabilities and delivering coordinated, end‑to‑end solutions that support long‑term customer relationships and growth.

What You Will Do

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on Molex capabilities and its product portfolio, positioning value effectively with customers.
  • Build, develop, and maintain strong relationships with both technical and commercial influencers at the customer and within Molex.

  • Identify strategic business opportunities and develop compelling business cases to secure internal alignment and execution support.
  • Monitor revenue and profitability across the portfolio, ensuring accurate capture and reporting in Molex systems.

  • Partner with APO, contract manufacturing sales, and supply planning teams to coordinate and support demand fulfillment.

  • Identify key value drivers within the customer portfolio and articulate strategies and business needs clearly to leadership.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)


  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Business or a technical discipline.
  • facing experience in sales, account management, or an equivalent technical role.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively in person, virtually, and in writing.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and deliver results with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity, analyze complex data sets, and influence internal and external stakeholders to achieve outcomes.

What Will Put You Ahead


  • Experience calling on consumer product OEMs, with a demonstrable track record of securing design wins.
  • Prior experience in the electronics industry, including interconnect products and passive or active components.
  • Familiarity with the consumer product design process and the associated sales cycle.
