Third Party Logistics team, under Global fulfillment, owns the relationships with our 3rd party logistics partners and effectively builds capabilities to ensure our partners operate within agreed SLA's and budget. Reporting to Senior Manager Third Party Logistics, the 3PL Implementation Support & Solution Design Manager works closely with APAC 3PL manager, Project Manager, DC Manager and Outbound Logistics Manager and drives operational excellence and business growth across APAC by designing and implementing 3PL solutions, enforcing SLA compliance, and leading data-driven optimizations, change management, and stakeholder communications.
This role is a hybrid role and will include onsite work in an office located in Hong Kong.
This individual may require flexibility with their working hours to accommodate work with international teams from time to time.
Distribution Readiness & Functional Oversight:
- Assess readiness of the outsourced DC / Logistics across process, capacity, and service models
- Provide expert input into go/no-go readiness decisions
- Identify distribution-related operational and contractual risks and propose mitigation actions
SOP Review, Documentation & Approval:
- Review and validate Standard Operating Procedures authored by or with the 3PL partner
- Ensure SOPs align with lululemon operating standards, contractual scope, and service expectations
- Confirm clarity of roles, responsibilities, and operational hand-offs
SOW, SLA & Scope Alignment:
- Act as 3PL and distribution subject-matter authority on SOW and SLA interpretation
- Identify potential scope misalignment or scope creep
- Support internal stakeholders with operational interpretation of contractual requirements
Transition to Steady-State Operations:
- Provide structured distribution readiness assessment ahead of stabilization
- Document residual risks, constraints, and recommendations for handover to steady-state teams
- Business administration, operations management, supply chain management, logistics, industrial engineering, or equivalent training desired
- Minimum of 5 years experience in distribution and logistics operations preferably for a multi-channel retailer or like-minded industry brand or in 3rd party logistics (supervisor/assistant manager/manager role welcomed)
- Exposure to contracting, RFP, project implementation, SOP, 3PL solutions preferred
- Clear communications skills to inspire, motivate and provide cross-functional leadership
- Strong IT skills (Microsoft office applications)
- Sound responsive analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to think outside of the box, enjoys challenges and is solutions-oriented
- Strong negotiation skills
- Fluent in English
- Capable of traveling to support business needs

In-person collaboration and/or office-based work is necessary or important for the role. Work is mainly performed onsite, 4-5 days per week depending on role requirements.
