About the Role

University students who are curious about insurance industry, open-minded to accept new challenges, able to learn and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment.

Internship Period: 8 June 2026 to 14 August 2026

The purpose of our 10-weeks programme is to provide students, who are passionate in Insurance industry, the opportunity to understand our business through hands-on work experience, projects and programme activities.

What you will learn and contribute:

Depending on the suitable development opportunities in Group Distribution

In the Group Corporate Solutionsteam, you may be involved in:

• Assisting in portfolio management related analysis and management reporting related templates development and validation

• Assistingto prepare AIARS pool clients annual pool reports and pool illustration

• Assisting in Captive, AIARS-plug in technical support and LBU liaison

• Other as instructed analysis and reporting tasks in the area of MNC portfolio financial reporting, RI contract management and management reporting.

In the Group Distribution Office

In Strategy & Management Reporting team, you may be involved in:

• Support BAU reporting, timesheet consolidation, expense reports distribution and manual report collections.
• Support Group Distribution Datamart data ingestion every month and follow up with the LBUs.
• Support Group Distribution cost calculation and potential model enhancements.
• Support on SBP (Strategic Bank Partners) dashboard refresh and data checking.

In Learning and Event team, you may be involved in:

• Support in event management activities including event registration management, AIA GEM app development and support, event communications and remote event execution.
• Manage and update One GD Learning SharePoint including working on content repository.
• Support on planning and preparation for One GD Learning Conference (Sept 2026) including collaborating with different departments, participants, content and logistics.
• Support BAU reporting, timesheet consolidation, expense reports distribution and manual report collections.
• Support Group Distribution Datamart data ingestion every month and follow up with the LBUs.

In the Group Agency Distribution team, you may be involved in:

• Support to analyze agency initiatives mid-year performance

• Support the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) initiatives and awards preparation

• Support the logistic of the Premier Agency Leaders (PAL) initiatives and conference

• Support the High Net Worth (HNW) Challenge event

In the Group Partnership Distribution team, you may be involved in:

• Assist in business planning and execution of the AIA Bancassurance Summit (and other future events) including supporting on executive updates, content creation, communications, etc. - working with knowledge consulting partner and event management vendor

• Support on execution of market-specific and other Group projects, to ensure delivery as per planned timelines

• Support in project and other reporting, including enhancing overall efficiency of reporting

• Support on research for new areas being explored by AIA

What you will need:

• Students from all background and field of study who are in your penultimate year of study

• Excellent teammate and curious learner

• Ability to multi-task, quick to adapt and able to work in fast paced work environment

• Strong command of written and spoken English and Chinese

• Strong digital literacy required, proficient in Microsoft Office
