The Role

Kyndryl is seeking an experienced Technical Solutioning to join our company by working on large deals in Public and Private industry.
Experienced Technical Solutioning lead multidisciplinary teams on complex consulting engagements and are accountable for delivering value to clients. They apply deep domain expertise, consulting techniques and empathetic approach to analyze issues, create and implement innovative solutions.

Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders. Understanding of cloud computing and data technologies, business drivers, managed services, and deployment options and how to apply them.

Leadership - Ability to lead large teams and customers on the solution strategy and scope. Financial skills - Able to understand and assess financial models and calculations.
Contractual skills - Experience creating, assessing, and negotiating contracts.

Technical solutioning has strong communication skills, is able to articulate the impact and business benefits of Kyndryl solutions and manage stakeholder expectations.

Experienced Technical Solutioning is a professional who creates and sells PaaS, IaaS and Infrastructure Services Solutions that add value to customers. Experienced Technical Solutioning lead technical teams on complex consulting engagements, combining Kyndryl and Market value assets to create solutions and the cost cases for complex, long-term opportunities that meet the customer's needs and help them with their business challenges.

Defining and documenting the overall solution architecture, evaluating and selecting appropriate technologies and platforms for the solution and ensuring that the solution meets performance, scalability, and security requirements providing technical guidance and support to development teams.
The Technical Solutioning lead the technical strategy and support the commercial strategy jointly with sales team, collaborate with human resource, department, legal and delivery during the engagement phase. The Technical Solutioning owns the design of technical solutions and is the main source of engagement management and solution design. The Technical Solutioning meets with Kyndryl clients 40% of their time. Sell managed services solutions and projects to clients and lead teams of experts from different IT areas and countries. They use standard and custom solutions, coordinating the development of complex, long-term custom solutions and cost cases. They ensure high-quality services and/or solutions that meet client requirements and Kyndryl strategy.

The candidate profile has the ability to:

  • explain the business and technical value of our solutions and products

  • position Kyndryl assets in competitive situations

  • connect with technical leaders

  • own and drive technical solution strategy and design

  • use and share technical Infrastructure Services solution assets and best practices

  • remove technical obstacles and motivate teams

  • develop competitive cost cases for complex, long-term opportunities

  • understand country specific requirements and adapt global best practices

  • create and use intellectual capital to solve diverse client issues, and

  • the experience in closing strategic complex services engagements


Who You Are

  • Work experience of at least 7 years

  • Required education Bachelor's degree preferred education Master's degree

  • Existing Architect Level Certificates in the areas of Hyperscaler, Network, Digital Workplace, or Security

  • Sound knowledge of market developments (competition, technology, industry trends)

  • Project management skills and several years of proven experience in corresponding projects

  • Practical experience in Transition and Transformation projects

  • Sales and negotiation experience and skills, ability to work in a team, and agile working style

  • Fluency in Italian and English language
