Your new role
Technical Manager - PV Technology is responsible for leading the preparation of technical requirements, configuration, EPC technical proposal evaluation, negotiation & closing of technical documentations, including Owner's Technical Specification, Testing & Commissioning, Performance Guarantees (generation, PR etc.) for PV projects. This role requires solid engineering experience in PV technology and in-depth knowledge in IPP project investment structure.

What you'll need to succeed

• In-depth knowledge of the engineering in overseas solar PV projects
• Familiarity with the structure of non-recourse project finance based project
• Strong connections and relationship within renewable industrial players, including tier-one EPC contractor, module, tracker and inverter suppliers etc.
• Strong techno-commercial leadership skills
• In-depth understanding of the local requirements in different jurisdictions
• 5 to 8 years experience in tier-one solar PV engineering and design institute, preferably electrical etc.
• Working knowledge of MS Office, PVsyst, Candela3D, Sketchup etc.
• M. Sc in Engineering or a related field
• Excellent in English
• Analytical mind with sharp techno-commercial savvy
• Problem-solving aptitude
• Attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, especially with people from diversified cultural background
• Out-of-box thinking
• Resilience and patience
• Preferred with large-scale PV project execution experience in UAE, KSA etc.
