Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of procurement professionals to drive sourcing and procurement activities for non-IT categories
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to achieve cost savings and operational efficiencies
- Manage supplier relationships and negotiations to ensure favorable commercial terms
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective procurement strategies
- Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, contract management, and supplier performance monitoring
- Strong procurement skill sets required
- Familiar with regional procurement organization
- Strong with execution and problem solving
- Strategic thinking and planning
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement or sourcing, with at least 2-3 years in a people management role
- Proven track record of delivering cost savings and operational improvements through strategic sourcing initiatives
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Proficient in data analysis and reporting to support decision-making
- People manager at least 23 years
