What are we looking for

Education & Professional Qualifications
  • At least Bachelor degree, Master is preferred, Supply chain management is preferred.
  • Excellence in Excel usage

Knowledge / Experience

  • Minimum 5 years experience of business planning / production planning /MPR planning, with tracking record of success.
  • Use SAP or other ERP system with knowledge of MRP planning functional modules
  • Use other production planning and scheduling systems like APS and OMP

What will be your key responsibilities

  • As the owner of PN China inventory, could lead the China Pet nutrition inventory strategy setting and execution to support business sustainable growth with agreed customer service level.
  • Work closely with x-function team to drive for the inventory reduction plan year on year.Manage x-border from US and Thailand and other US sourcing for B2B channelsupply planning, both long term and short term for affiliate sourcing unit or other oversea co-man unit. Work closely with demand team to understand the demand pattern and fluctuation for x-border and other US sourcing SKUs and translate into supply requirement in the system and release to factory by considering CSL, inventory level, production stability MOQ and factory capacity.
  • Place the purchase order to Mars US/Thailand and other affiliate co-man on the timely basis to support the production requirements and monitor the PO status by closely working with sourcing planning, and affiliate team and import/export team to ensure the on-time in full delivery.
  • Manage and monitor the right level of inventory by considering the production requirement and cost balance.
  • Highlight risks & opportunities to the business and could drive the actions to mitigate the risks and realize the opportunities for the x-border and other US sourcing part.
  • Lead APS functional excellence, in method, process, and the system and support OMP roll-out in China
  • Work closely with Marketing, Sales and Activity Management team to support new products launching and post launch review.
