As a Sr. Performance and Capacity Architect with Kyndryl, you will play a vital role in managing performance and capacity for complex mainframe systems to support business growth. Who You Are

Must have 7 plus years of experience in the following areas:
o Workload Manager (WLM)
o Performance tuning of Websphere, CICS, DB2, IMS subsystems and z/OS operating system
o DASD Subsystem tuning
o Real-time monitoring by using BMC's Mainview or IBM's OMEGAMON
o SMF data processing by using MICS, MXG and SAS
o Able to extract data from TDS/IzPCA and analyze for making recommendations
o Mainframe Capacity planning and Management which includes forecasting, projections, LPDEF set up, Group Caps, Hard Caps, Soft Caps & Absolute Capping Set up, Capacity trending analysis and Workload Analysis with historical SMF data and making recommendations
o Able to lead and manage capacity planning team and provide guidance/ direction
o Setting up capacity health checks for monitoring trends, identifying exceptions and resolving issues
o Able to manage and lead the teams and be a technical mentor/manager
o Able to prepare presentations for senior management and present observations & recommendations
o Able to manage weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly meetings with internal teams, senior management and application teams on capacity analysis and provide recommendations
o Able to manage capacity inventory and provide weekly updates to senior management
o Able to set up Cognos reporting portals and effectively use them in capacity analysis
o Setting up and Administrate CPM (Capacity Provisioning Manager) for dynamically activating CPU capacity to support sudden spikes in business volumes
o Able to manage capacity during DR/SRs events
o Excellent analytical and presentation skills
