Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Financial Planning & Analysis Teams develop, interpret and implement financial concepts for financial planning and control. They perform technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance. They gather, analyze, prepare and summarize recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements and operating forecasts. The Financial Planning & Analysis Teams also perform economic research and studies in the areas of rates of return, depreciations, working capital requirements, investment opportunities, investment performance and impact of governmental requirements.

Overview:
This position will assist the Global Operation Finance Director oversee all nancial activities for BU global operation, responsible for managing the complete, accurate and timely processing of transactions through the Company's accounting systems in accordance with US GAAP. This position reports to the Operations Finance Director and will supervise/collaborate with a team of nance analysts and will work closely with global operation team, plant finance team and other finance functions within BU.

Key Responsibilities
. Partner with the Plant Operations nance team to drive plant financial performance achievement
. Perform consolidation of operational nancial results on an ongoing basis and complete review, reconciliation, and analysis. Provide recommendations for corrective actions and opportunities for improvement to management.
. Partner with PBL team to support PBL business expansion strategy and drive PBL business financial performance achievement.
. Partner with Central Operations to lead and responsible for footprint migration, consolidation, and expansion activities to optimize current manufacturing and supply chain capability.
. Participate in the completion of BU strategic plan, annual budget process.
. Provide guidance and operation finance/costing training to new plants
. Lead operation monthly closing/budget planning and forecasting review/monitor operation activities against budget ensure results achieve nancial targets and business KPI.
. Provide guidance to Plant/Non plant annual re-cost cycle and BU level annual re-cost impact bridge & analysis
. Responsible for global operation monthly/quarterly business review material preparation and ad hoc scenario analysis from global operation leader
. Responsible for Global Operations nance policies and ensure appropriate levels of nancial controls across global non-plant operations in compliance with US GAAP and SOX requirements.
. Manage and develop a team of operations nance analysts

Required/Preferred Experience
. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business, MBA or CPA a plus.
. 10+ years experience in operations nance accounting with a minimum of 3 years of management experience.
. Global span, ability to manage globally and cross culturally
. Strong understanding of standard cost and forecasting/budgeting processes.
. Account recognition and nancial controls experience.
. Highly skilled SAP and Excel user - Hyperion, database and/ or data warehouse experience a plus.
. Independent problem solver with good organizational and planning skills.
. Strong oral and written communications skills.
. Ability to eectively and eciently use PowerPoint for presentations
. Must take initiative, be assertive & agile, and have a high level of engagement
. 15% anticipated travel (domestic & international)
