Business Function
Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels. This role will be based in Guangzhou, China.
Responsibilities

• Lead and support the setting up of the infrastructure of DBS Tech China together with Group CRESA and Procurement teams
• Lead and support DBS Tech China strategy execution along with business/ support units
• Support DBS Tech China CEO&rsquos office with external and regional reporting and reviews
• Support Group wide reviews, townhall, strategic project and reporting as required by Group Technology
• Support monitoring strategic priorities by assisting in cost initiatives, report on strategic priorities and deliver meaningful analysis
• Together with HR, lead people transformation program to align with DBS culture.
• Monitor external & internal sources relevant for the bank&rsquos overall strategy: including market trends, and external developments Also engage relevant stakeholders to gather such key information
• Assist in external partnerships/representations to increase employer and employee branding as required.

Requirements

• Self-starter with the ability to work independently without close supervision
• Strategic thinking combined with strong execution capability
• Strong interpersonal & stakeholder engagement skills
• High level of problem-solving aptitude and demonstrated organizational skills
• Ability and experience in preparing and delivering presentations
• Good written and oral communication in both English and Chinese language
• Experience in vendor management, negotiations, MSA, NDA etc
• Experience in handling onshore/offshore resourcing model
