ROLE SUMMARY
This role acts as the Regional CET Lead for CFC Training, reporting to the China Customer Engagement Training Lead and being a part of the China Training LT. The lead will oversee the regional training manager team, conduct regional training needs analysis, and develop regional training strategies and plans to ensure high-quality delivery that meets regional business requirements. The Regional Training Lead will also work closely with RMs to provide field-based training activities, including field joint calls, training delivery, enhanced workshops, and capabilities assessments.
Additionally, this role will act as the focal point for 1-2 BUs, closely communicating with BU leadership to identify training needs and develop BU-specific training strategies and plans. By collaborating with other China Regional Training Leads, this role will also need to allocate resources and ensure the high-quality execution of BU training strategies and plans in other regions. The China Regional Training Lead will work closely with BU GMs, Franchise Leads, and Sales Directors and will contribute as an extended member of the BU Leadership Team to conduct capabilities-building initiatives that support business priorities.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Regional CET for all BUs in the region: Develop and oversee the execution of comprehensive training plans for all Business Units (BUs) within the region, ensuring alignment with business needs and priorities.
Develop regional training plan and oversee the execution: Create detailed training plans and ensure their successful implementation across the region.
Prioritize & allocate resources to ensure all BU training plan execution in the region: Efficiently allocate and coordinate resources to support the execution of training plans for all BUs in the region.
Dual role as 1-2 BU Focal point: Act as the focal point for 1-2 BUs, ensuring their specific training needs are met.
BU training plan development: Collaborate with BU leadership to develop tailored training plans that address the unique needs of each BU.
Liaison with BU LT to understand needs and define training strategy: Work closely with BU Leadership Teams (LT) to understand their training needs and define effective training strategies.
Field-based training work with RM: Coordinate field-based activities (including region training, role-play, field join-calls, etc.) in collaboration with Regional Managers (RM)
Training Delivery: Deliver RM/DM training curriculum and oversee the team in delivering training programs, ensuring high-quality and impactful training experiences.
Team development and performance management: Manage and develop a team of training professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and performance management to ensure high levels of team performance.
Contribute as BU extended LT member: Actively contribute as an extended member of the BU Leadership Team, providing insights and support for business capabilities development.
Key stakeholders management: Collaborate with key stakeholders, including BU LT, Franchise Lead, and SD, to ensure training strategy/plan alignment with business priorities and bring impact to the business.
QUALIFICATIONS
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of professional experience, with MNC pharmaceutical sales management experience being a must.
Rich experience and strong expertise in effective field coaching in previous sales working experience
Experience with learning and development programs and delivery.
Proven experience in managing and developing a team, providing guidance, coaching, and performance management.
Ability to think strategically, interpret business needs, and develop training plans that align with business objectives.
Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence senior BU stakeholders and senior sales leaders
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and levels.
Outstanding presentation, facilitation and writing skills
Ability to lead by influence without positional authority.
Strong passion for training and capabilities for continuous learning and self-improvement.
Proficiency in English and Mandarin.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in developing training strategy and design training programs, especially within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
