Responsibilities
1. Plan and execute valuable qualitative and quantitative user research: including clarifying and breaking down business needs, selecting research methods, designing research plans, recruiting/collecting samples, conducting interviews/testing/data analysis, summarizing research findings, and communicating research results 2. Convert research insights into actionable suggestions for improving products and services, and convey them to a wide range of cross-functional and cross-level audiences through engaging narratives, build trust with partners, and gain support for research-driven, user-centric solutions 3. Continuously define and plan research projects and manage project priorities based on company and department goals at the same time, be able to identify industry trends and opportunities, discover research gaps, foresee research needs, and find a balance between meeting cross-functional research requests and independently initiating research projects 4. Work closely with user insight-related functions such as data analysts and user feedback operations to jointly develop research plans, discuss research results, and deepen our understanding of users 5. Manage multiple projects at the same time, covering strategic and tactical research needs at different stages of the business 6. Work with team members to promote improvements in the operational effectiveness of user research, improve the efficiency and quality of user research workflows, and increase the influence of user research within the organization through more proactive sedimentation, communication and sharing, and attention to results.
Qualifications
1. More than 5 years of relevant experience in user research, experience in educational technology research will be a plus 2. Bachelor's degree or above in human-computer interaction, cognitive science, statistics, psychology, anthropology, sociology or related fields is preferred 3. Good at qualitative research methods, such as in-depth interviews, diary studies, field surveys, usability testing, concept testing, card sorting, etc. 4. Familiar with quantitative research methods, including questionnaires and statistical analysis 5. Able to independently take charge of more complex research projects 6. Strong project management ability, able to multi-thread parallel 7. Have excellent oral and written communication skills, and can communicate effectively with a wide range of audiences 8. Adapt to the fuzzy, changeable, and highly uncertain startup-like environment 9. Know how to build strong relationships with cross-functional partners.
