Who we are looking for

This front office, trading floor role involves multiple facets of being a senior eFX quant in APAC including market making, eNDFs and onshore APAC currencies. More than five years experience as an eFX quant is required to join the eFX APAC quant team based in Hong Kong. Due to the role requirements this job needs to be performed primarily in the office with some flex work opportunities available.

What you will be responsible for

As a senior quant you will

  • Optimizing the volume and PnL of the eFX market making business in the APAC time zone

  • Develop theoretical quantitative models

  • Do extensive data analysis to demonstrate the viability of the models

  • Implement models primary using Java and also Python

  • Product development for the APAC business including new currencies and markets

  • Be the owner for the operational and market risks of the trading system

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • A masters degree or above in a relevant technical field including math, computer science, computer engineering, physics and quantitative finance.

  • Greater than 5 years of experience as an eFX quant is required with eNDF and onshore FX markets knowledge

  • Proficient in Java or C++ programing language
