Our client is looking for a Senior Project Manager (Cloud Architecture). Major Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee large-scale IT projects, focusing on the implementation of a private cloud platform enhancement and its related security products to facilitate the deployment of new applications within the private cloud environment.
• Manage various aspects of the project according to the defined project governance framework, including scope, schedule, communication, expenses, vendor contract analysis, and priority management.
• Act as the technical project manager to identify technology interdependencies and incorporate them into the project plan, ensuring the successful implementation of technical components with all dependencies fulfilled.
• Monitor project issues, risks, and action items, facilitating their resolution with relevant stakeholders.
• Supervise the project team, both internal and vendor-based, to ensure on-time project delivery.
• Maintain proper project documentation in the internal repository and oversee project closure.
• Manage the Project Management Office for the company, ensuring adherence to project governance, process reviews, and follow-ups.
• Oversee the project budget, ensuring accurate tracking of expenditures.
• Undertake any ad hoc project-related duties as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements:

• Hold a university degree in information technology, computer science, or a related discipline.
• Possess a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, ideally acquired from major financial institutions, with a proven track record in managing scalable IT infrastructure projects.
• Preferred experience in cloud project implementation, especially with K8S.
• Preferred experience in managing a project management office.
• Solid knowledge of PMP or Prince 2 or possession of relevant certifications (mandatory).
• Experience in IT contract management, particularly in resolving contractual or commercial issues.
• Experience in managing budgets for large-scale IT projects.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality projects.
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese, with the ability to communicate in Putonghua being a plus.
• Effective communication skills, especially the ability to convey complex ideas and technical details to stakeholders at various levels.
• Strong multitasking capabilities and a pleasant personality.
