Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Work independently to handle low to medium value purchases of general goods and services
  • Assist supervisors to manage the tendering process for high value purchases
  • Liaise with user departments and provide advice on needs identification and requirement specifications
  • Conduct market research and sourcing activities
  • Proactively work with user departments to prepare tender documents
  • Support the development of the best fit procurement and contracting strategies in line with established procurement policy and procedures
  • Ensure the procurement activities are implemented which are fully compliant with corporate procurement policy and procedures
  • Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Business Administration, Procurement or other related disciplines
  • Professional qualification on procurement is an added advantage
  • Minimum 3 years relevant experience preferably in sizeable organisations, preferably having experience at procurement systems/ supervisory level
  • Knowledge in using Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) system, e.g. Oracle Financial / Procurement System is an advantage
  • Proficient in MS Office application
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skill with positive attitude
  • Proactive, high level of integrity and sense of accountability
  • High level of integrity and sense of accountability
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese and proficiency in Putonghua
