Senior Commodity Buyer Purchasing-Finished Parts
Job Description :
We're lokking for a new colleague to join ZF at our location in Jiaxing, Zhejiang.
Your tasks:
- Strategic sourcing of assigned commodity parts Forging Non-Automotive Finished Parts within Division CVCS
- Manage purchasing price, review sources and bundling opportunities for cost-saving methods and opportunities achieve the target cost established by the business unit for the commodity
- Lead and support development of part family strategies as well as manage supply base regarding quality and delivery accordingto the escalation model
- Responsible negotiation lead for defined global suppliers as supplier champion cooperate
- Handling sourcing cases according ZF guidelines (from RFQ to final awarding) and ensure pricing information in SAP, Reporting Systems
Your profile:
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering, Business Administration with technical background and several years of experience in a purchasing related background
- Deep Knowledge of cost improvement/ containment topics and techniques
- Experience in managing global supply base
- Fluent English language skills and additional language skills desirable e.g., German
- Willingness to travel and ability to work in a global business environment
