As a Senior Accountant, you will play a vital role in managing complex accounting operations supporting our global business activities. This position requires advanced expertise in Taiwan GAAP, IFRS, and tax laws to ensure compliance across multiple jurisdictions and accurate financial reporting.

The position is based in Taipei Neihu office.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and fixed assets.
  • Prepare, review, and analyse the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and full compliance with relevant accounting standards.
  • Prepare and review complex journal entries and reconciliations to support accurate financial reporting.
  • Monitor daily cash flow and liquidity forecasts to ensure sufficient funds for operational needs.
  • Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, driving timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors during various audits, ensuring compliance with process.
  • Ensure adherence to local tax laws, financial regulations, and internal controls policies.
  • Review and improve existing accounting policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and compliance.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between people or teams located in different global offices and from diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Identify and implement continuous process improvements and automation opportunities within the accounting function.
  • Support regulatory reporting requirements and uphold corporate governance requirements.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive accounting experience, with extensive knowledge of Taiwan GAAP.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Experience working with ERP systems and accounting software platforms (Sage, SAP byDesign, Oracle).
  • Fluent in English communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Excellent analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and strong organizational abilities.
  • Digital-savvy – comfortable with IT/technology tools.
  • Has keen interest in and embrace continuous improvement.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively and collaborate in a multicultural, multinational environment.
  • Self-motivated, capable of working independently with minimal supervision, as well as effectively collaborating within a team.
