Research Assistant I

Research Assistant I in the Department of Psychology / State Key Laboratory of Brain and Cognitive Sciences (Ref.: 523131) (to commence as soon as possible on a one-year temporary basis, with the possibility to renewal subject to performance and available funding)

Applicants should have

- Bachelor's degree or above, in Psychology, Neuroscience, or a related discipline

- Excellent command of written and spoken Chinese and English

- Good organizational and interpersonal skills

- Proactive and efficient working style

- Experience with the design of behavioral experiments and neuroimaging (MRI data), programing skills are a plus

The appointee will join ongoing project of the Principal Investigator Professor Benjamin Becker on the brain basis of emotional and motivational processes and how these become dysfunctional in mental disorders. Tasks will include, establishing the lab computer infrastructure, subject recruitment and running experiments, analyzing data and preparation of publications and research projects.
