Research Assistant I/II in the School of Public Health (Ref.: 526945) (to commence as soon as possible for one year on temporary term contract, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a master's degree in public health, nutrition, statistics or other related fields in life/medical sciences. They should have an excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese good interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills and proficiency in statistical software and data management tools (eg. R). They should be logical, attentive to details, self-motivated, able to multi-task and work in a team. Previous experience in epidemiology research would be preferred.

The appointee will be working on a research project on the risk of non-communicable diseases, relevant to adverse exposures during infancy and childhood. He/She will assist on the logistics of biological samples and data analysis, and perform administrative tasks and other duties as assigned.
