As a R&D Mechanical Engineer for Motion Business Area in Shanghai, China, you will be supporting R&D for new permanent magnet AC servo motor product. Defining basic model of motors for assembly, interact with customers in defining specifications.This is a position with global grade

R&D Department LeadYour responsibilities

• Being responsible for Mechanical design of permanent magnet AC servo motors
• Ensuring R&D Work for new servo motor construction design based on project/customer requirement
• Coordinating with electrical team to verify servo motor performance and quality
• Working with internal colleagues on component development, cost saving, improvement, etc.
• Defining servo motor product cost analysis and cost reduction plan based on project requirement
• Defining technical standard/criteria for servo motor assembly line

• BS/MS degree in Mechanical Engineering/Mechatronics
• 5+ Years of mechanical design experience with motor design
• Worked for a multinational company or technical area in a motor industry
• Knowledge in AutoCAD and Solid Work
• Familiar with machining and assembly process
• Familiar with regulations and codes of related motor standards
• Good command of speaking and writing in English.
