Job Description

The Customer Operations department at Deutsche Post & Paket promotes growth and service quality for the largest customers through customized solutions. The Customer Operations teams develop and implement operational solutions in collaboration with customers and colleagues from Sales, Customer Service and Operations, enabling them to meet customer requirements that exceed our operational standards.
This includes the development of new network concepts, the planning and management of large customer volumes in the network and customer-specific performance management. A dynamically developing customer group that the Customer Operations team is supporting are large international eCommerce platforms who are establishing global logistics chains from China to Europe.

Main tasks

Driving Growth
. Driving growth and continuous improvement of existing and new P&P customers on the CN-DE lane
. Implement high quality tailored made operational solutions as part of a cross-functional international team

Building Relationships
. Developing relationships with customer teams in China
. Gaining insights und understanding customer requirements with regular on-site visits
. Conducting performance reviews with customers
. Being a trusted advisor for P&P customers in China

Collaboration
. Close collaboration with cross-functional teams within the P&P division in China and Germany, incl. Sales, OPS, Customer Service
. Manage interfaces and align requirements with service providers along the CN-DE trade lane, e.g. customs, airports, carriers
. Contribution to projects with other business divisions, e.g. DHL Global Forwarding, DHL Express and CSI

Functional requirements

. Completed studies in logistics, business administration or equivalent professional training
. Strong understanding and experience in inter national logistics and parcel shipping
. Experience in business development and dealing with customers
. Experience in cross-functional project management
. Very good business fluent Chinese and English skills

. Trustworthiness, communication skills and negotiation skills
. Independent and structured way of working
. Confident appearance and communication with all management levels
. Flexibility, mobility for regular business trips
