Reports to: Building Principal and PIMS Administrator
Primary Purpose
To backup the PIMS Administrator and ensure all District-related data and building level data is accurately represented in PIMS (Pennsylvania Information Management System).
Qualifications
Minimum Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma and one year of administrative support experience
Essential Functions
Oversight and responsibility for data preparation and state reporting across multiple departments and buildings, including but not limited to all PIMS submissions:
Coordinates data entry, data maintenance, and data correction in district information systems for State-required PIMS Reporting
Coordinates with various end-users including, but not limited to those who work with student attendance, discipline, enrollment, course enrollment, special education, human resources, in addition to school administrators in reviewing reports, maintaining PIMS data in district information systems, and in meeting reporting deadlines.
Coordinates child accounting reports through PIMS and communicates directly with the PDE Child Accounting Department regarding any child accounting and ACT 80 questions or issues.
Keeps up to date with Districts information system vendors in handling changes to PIMS reporting requirements.
Attends webinars, meetings, and/or conferences conducted by the State, information system vendors, and the Intermediate Unit on PIMS reporting subjects.
Responsible for data quality.
Project lead for implementation of analytics/dashboard products and similar systems.
Supports technology systems involving student data.
Provides data exports to third party systems as necessary.
Coordinates training and support for administrators, secretaries, and end users in SIS and other data-related functions.
Supports student registration and financial software systems.
Supports the management of the Districts SIS as necessary.
Provide reports to administration.
Coordinates end-of-year system rollovers for various staff and student facing systems.
Enters into and adheres to confidentiality agreement.
