Part-time Project Co-ordinator II

The CUHK-SYSU Centre for Historical Anthropology was set up in November 2010 jointly by The Chinese University of Hong Kong and Sun Yat-sen University to co-ordinate joint research in Historical Anthropology.

The appointee will be responsible for (a) providing administrative and operational support to research projects (b) organising academic events, including seminars, workshops, and research-related activities (c) assisting in office administration and (d) performing other tasks as assigned by the Centre Director.

Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor's degree, preferably with a Master's degree in related disciplines (ii) a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua) (iii) good planning and organisational skills (iv) good computer literacy and familiarity with MS Office (including Chinese word-processing ) (v) a strong sense of responsibility (vi) effective interpersonal skills and (vii) the ability to work as a good team member. Having research/administrative experience will be advantageous.
