Job Description

IVE Engineering has organised a number of high-quality professional development programmes for engineering practitioners in the areas of Construction, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, and Transportation Engineering. Please refer to / for details of the respective training programmes. In order to meet the increase in demand for our services, we are looking for high caliber professionals with relevant work experience to provide part-time teaching in the following specialisms:

Specialisms:
(i)	Fire and Safety Engineering
(ii)	Electric Vehicle Charging Facility Technologies

Major Duties:
(a)	To conduct lectures and perform other teaching-related activities or duties, such as preparing teaching materials, setting assignments and examination papers, and marking both assignments and examination scripts for the programmes in the above specialisms (teaching materials and lectures will be in either Chinese or English)
(b)	To develop and review programme curriculum teaching and learning package
(c)	To assist in validation and accreditation of programmes
(d)	To carry out academic-related administration duties, such as invigilation of examinations and
(e)	To participate in coordination meetings when necessary.

Requirements:
(a)	A recognised degree in Electrical Engineering, Fire and Safety Engineering, Building Service Engineering, or professional qualification, preferably with a post-graduate qualification
(b)	At least 3 years relevant teaching and/or industry experience
(c)	For Specialism (ii): A holder of a valid Electrical Worker Registration Certificate (Grade A or above) is highly preferred
(d)	Preference will be given to applicants with teaching experience in adult training programme and
(e)	Good communication, teaching and facilitation skills in both English and Chinese, preferably including Putonghua.

Notes:
(1)	Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply.
(2)	The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties in the daytime and at different work locations as assigned.
