Major Duties:
The appointee shall engage in delivering lectures and conducting tutorials for the Faculty in Putonghua as medium of instruction.
Requirements:
The successful candidate should have a recongised Master's degree in Property & Facilities, Real Estate, Building Services Engineering or related fields with at least 4 years of teaching experience at tertiary level and/or experience in professional practice in Hospitality Property and Facilities Management. Candidates with the ability to teach the subject Hospitality Property & Facilities Management will be preferred.
In addition, the candidate should be native in Putonghua (mother tongue/language is Putonghua) or possess a recognised bachelor's degree or above of which the medium of instruction was Putonghua or have at least over 3 years working experience in Mainland China or other Putonghua speaking countries or regions (Singapore, Taiwan, Macao, etc) or attained Grade B / Level 2 or above in the Putonghua Proficiency Test or Putonghua Shuiping Ceshi (PSC) / Level 3 or above in the Assessment Papers of the Language Proficiency Assessment for Teachers (Putonghua).
Notes:
(1)The Medium of Instruction (MOI) for the post is Putonghua.
(2)The shortlisted applicants will be required to provide evidence demonstrating their proficiency in formal writing in Chinese and deliver a teaching demonstration in Putonghua.
(3)The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties at different sites and work irregular hours, shifts and on Saturdays and Sundays as necessary.
(4)The remuneration package will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
(5)The appointee(s) will work on Chai Wan Campus.
