What are we looking for

-Identifies and evaluates the organization's audit and emerging risk areas and provides key input to the development of the risk-based annual internal audit plan.

-Designs and performs audit procedures, focusing on the business (financial, operational and compliance) risks and including designing audit procedures to cover control objective, possible risks and implications, identifying and defining issues, developing criteria, reviewing and analyzing evidence, and documenting client processes and procedures.

-Conducts interviews, reviews documents, develops and administers surveys, composes summary memos, and prepares working papers.

-Identifies, develops, and documents audit issues and recommendations for improvement by giving solutions using independent judgment concerning areas being audited.

-Communicates or assists in communicating the results of audit and consulting projects via written reports and oral presentations on a timely basis to Unit, Corporate and Segment Management.

-Lead regional and global initiatives to drive governance & control standards on emerging risk areas.

-Able to act as control expert on business needs and drive control insights.

-Develops and maintains productive team-oriented client and staff relationships through individual contacts and group meetings.

-Pursues professional development opportunities, including external and internal training and professional association memberships, and shares information gained with co-workers.

-Represents internal auditing on organizational project teams, at management meetings, and with external organizations.

-Provides or assists in providing training, coaching, and guidance to S&F staffs or other process control owners to enhance governance & control environment within a FMCG industry.

-Performs related work as assigned by Regional IA Director.

What will be your key responsibilities

-Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a similar field and must also be working towards or possess a C.P.A. or C.I.A. certificate.

-Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin is a must and another Asian language is preferred.

-The successful candidate must have a minimum of 5 years audit experience.

-Experience with a Big 4 accounting firm and/or large corporation's internal audit department is a must.

-Experience with auditing consumer packaged goods or other manufacturing companies is desirable.

-Knowledge of Business Standards and Code of Ethics.

-Strong functional skills on contemporary risk management, control techniques and frameworks.

-Excellent analytical skills, in collecting and analyzing complex data, evaluating information and systems, and drawing logical conclusions and problem solving skills.

-Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written communications, including active listening skills, conflict management and skill in presenting findings and recommendations for improvement to managers at each location, as well as other senior managers.

-Well-developed organization skills and project management to manage multiple projects and priorities and in maintaining composure under pressure while meeting multiple deadlines.

-Ability to establish and maintain harmonious working relationships with co-workers, peers, and senior management and capable to build constructive relationships in a complex and multicultural environment.

-US GAAP and/or SOX compliance experience is highly preferred.

-Forensic investigation and/or SAP and/or Audit Boardexperience is a plus.

-Strong PC and data analysis skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Power BI

-Ability to travel to up to 50% to domestic and/or international locations.
