As a Layout Engineer for the M2M team located in Dalian, you will work with innovative wireless modules that will be used in automotive, industrial and other M2M applications globally.
A week in the life of a Layout Engineer:
You will set up an internal symbol standard both for schematics and PCB. And check them in every design project.
You will coordinate with another team to create new symbols and manage new part number
You will check the schematics design from the netlist file and feed back problems to hardware engineers.
You will coordinate with hardware and mechanical engineer to make a best components layout in 3D room.
You will coordinate with hardware to design PCB and change design.
You will make DRC and DFM check for the PCB, and output documents to PCB supplier and SMT manufacture, then provide necessary support to them.
You will update PCB design after review meeting and meet design change.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
To succeed in this job, you must have:
With mobile phone or M2M layout experience
Professional experience in high speed PCB design, such as DDR, USB
Professional experience in PCB design for RF circuit, such as strip line, microstrip line
Professional experience in PCB design with 10 or more lays
Understanding of layout and impedance rules for different signal lines
Understand SMT process and layout rule, and with layout experience under high speed signal and high density routing rules, such as use 0603(JIS)/0201(EIA) size and BGA or FBGA components Professional to create components symbol and footprint in Altium environment. Professional experience in providing manufacturing documents to both PCB supplier and SMT manufacture, solve the problems they encountered in the manufacturing process Professional experience in separate different GND Professional experience in creating symbols of both schematics and PCB Well communication with ME and hardware engineer in PCB design is necessary
It would be preferred if you have experience with mobile phone or M2M layout especially in GSM, WCDMA or LTE, or some products based on SOC system PCB design is better and design tool such as Altium is better and nice to have Board view and CR5000.
You must be fluent in English and Mandarin.

You must have a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical or Telecommunication Engineering.
