Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Supply Chain Managers are responsible for the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials. They ensure the availability of materials in the supply chain, as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at the established levels. They coordinate and integrate the flow of materials and information among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and customers, identifying opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness and capabilities of the supply chain. Resources are focused on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through production processes, and the establishment of key performance metrics and benchmarks to monitor actual performance against goals.

Responsibilities:
. Strategy Development: Developing a clear and comprehensive strategy for global network of factories. Involves identifying opportunities for improvement, setting objectives, and outlining the roadmap to achieve the desired changes.
. Process Optimization: Evaluating existing supply chain processes and identifying areas for optimization and efficiency improvement. Implementing best practices and ensuring that processes are standardized and streamlined across factories.
. Digitalization: In Partnership with Platform and Analytics Team, assessing and driving adoption of Platform (SAP IBP, Vendor Portal etc) and digital tools to enhance supply chain visibility, coordination, and automation.
. Change Management: Leading and managing change initiatives across different factory locations. Communicating the vision for transformation, addressing concerns, and facilitating the adoption of new practices by employees.
. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborating with various functions, including procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and quality assurance, to align supply chain transformation efforts with overall business objectives.
. Risk Management: Identifying potential risks and vulnerabilities in the supply chain and developing strategies to mitigate them. Ensuring supply chain resilience and contingency planning to handle disruptions effectively.
. Performance Monitoring: Establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) and tracking the progress of supply chain transformation initiatives. Regularly reporting on the achieved results to stakeholders and leadership.
. Vendor Management: Collaborating with procurement, suppliers, and vendors to align their processes with the transformation goals. Establishing strong partnerships to drive mutual success.
. Continuous Improvement: Encouraging a culture of continuous improvement within the supply chain organization. Seeking feedback from stakeholders and leveraging lessons learned to refine strategies and achieve better results.

What your background should look like:
- A bachelor's or master's degree in supply chain management, business administration, industrial engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 12 years experience in in a multinational environment. Progressively more responsibility and experience in Factory Operations and Supply Chain Management leadership roles.
- High proficiency in Vendor Management, Material Management and Factory Supply Planning.
- Must be a recognized leader for continuous improvement and has developed a thorough experience and knowledge of manufacturing and improvement (Lean) tools and techniques.
- Abilities to drive and oversees multiple Projects End-to-End, with track record of achieving results and abilities to drive effective change management.
- Competent with supply chain management software (SAP Must, IBP is a plus) and analytics tools.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to lead and inspire diverse teams across different locations.
- Understand business drivers and able to balance between short- and long-term objectives.
- Excellent English communication skills to articulate and engage stakeholders at all levels.
