The candidate will take an active lead in the simulation team as part of International Simultaneous Engineering Center (ISEC) located in Changsha. In this role, we support platform and application projects with computational predictions of compounds behaviour under vibration, thermal and machinal loads.
Take a lead You are responsible for the model-based simulation process of electrical drives, included coupled simulations with power electronics and mounting parts (e.g. compressor stages, etc). You guide the development team within your field of expertise, lead concept evaluations and present your decision proposals within the project steering committee. In additional you support your line management and project managers in the planning and fulfilling of the milestone, capacity, and resource planning.
Shape the future You ensure functional excellence of the Model-based Engineering and simulation approach. In addition, you proactively strive for improvement in simulation tool development and validation of simulation models within team as well as together with global expert in EU. You take the chance to introduce new applications of digitalization and automated analysis in simulation process.
Grow together You share your experience and knowledge within the team and help to develop new simulation services including coac hing in your field of expertise for the development and design teams.
Drive cooperation You work together with internal and external development partners both in China as well as globally. You cultivate and extend the exchange to other departments in Bosch as well as expert network in EU.
Output simulation results Your work independently to build up finite element model for electrical drives related products and finally give conclusion and optimization direction/suggestion to designer. Sometimes, you validate and optimize simulation model based on your experiment requirement and results, then support the design optimization or problem solving for electrical drives related products.

Qualifications

Master degree or above in Mechanical Engineering/Solid mechanical/Structural mechanical/Vehicle engineering/ Thermal energy and power engineering or related
Background in computational simulation for thermal and/or NVH (noise, vibration, harshness)
3 years relevant working experience in finite element analysis, background in automobile is preferred, e.g. Thermal, Vehicle NVH, electric drive or engineering machinery related

  1. Deep knowledge in thermal dynamics/NVH theory and electric drive related products
  2. Familiar with FEA software, prefer to the ABAQUS and ANSYS
  3. Familiar with data analysis and system modeling in Matlab and Simulink
  4. Preferred if with Ansys motor CAD experience

Fluent in English, both oral and written
