Contribute in all phases of a successful IC design from system definition and specifications to measurements and system performance evaluation.
Job Responsibilities
The system team is directly in the product definition phase and involved in many steps of the design process. This requires collaboration on multiple tasks across different teams and departments.
As DSP engineer, you will be responsible for developing block-level and system-level simulation scripts to analyze the impact of RF IC impairments and derive system specifications.
Research across multiple fields of interest (3GPP NR, WLAN/WiFi)
Review measurement results and compare to system simulation results.
Skills and Qualifications we are looking for
PhD, major in electrical, communication, or computer engineering
3 years R&D experience in the telecommunications or semiconductor industry
Good understanding of the different transceiver architectures, with focus on the RF impairments and DSP compensation schemes (DPD, CFR, Equalization)
MATLAB/Python programming for evaluation of system performance with respect to specifications
Knowledge of 4G/5G standards (3GPP LTE/NR) and WLAN/WiFi standards (802.11)
Familiarity with DSP processors and C programming is a plus.
Familiarity with Baseband Modem algorithms is a plus.
Can work independently but has a team player personality.
What we offer:
An open, international, and stimulating environment with a focus on innovation and team spirit
An attractive compensation and benefits package
Team building activities, lively after-work drinks, and team lunches.
