Position: Customer Service Specialist
Location: Shanghai

Job Description:
This person will be primarily responsible for the day-to-day support of production applications in an ecommerce environment involving international ocean transportation with a focus on customer service. The person is also responsible for ensuring that he/she provides excellent customer service and support by understanding the customers operating demands and how the business unit is meeting those demands with its solutions.

Duties & Responsibilities:
We're looking for someone to support our transport community, covering Asia Pacific region.
  • Manage incoming calls, e-mail, and service desk entries
  • Identify and assess customers needs to achieve satisfaction
  • Gather input to enrich our knowledge in customer segmentation
  • Act as the glue between our customers and our platform users
  • Offer solutions to our community members, making their experience with our support seamless
  • Contact ocean lines with inquiries that need their intervention, and follow up on these to ensure the solution reaches the community in a timely manner
  • Experience with logistics related industry is a plus
  • Candidate is willing to work on shift, including weekends
Skills & Qualities:
  • Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
  • Fluency in in English and Chinese
  • Service oriented, customer service minded
  • Possess pleasant, yet assertive telephone personality with good listening skills
  • You have a good feeling for technology
