Cost Engineer Design to Cost (Power Module)_AE

Job Description

. Self-organized work: You will become part of the agile cost engineering &
benchmark organization of AE (AE/CB), work in a self-organized team.
. Help shape the future: You will work actively in SE teams from the early
innovation phase and determine target costs for purchased parts and value
add of AE products in the areas of:
o Either plastic injection connectors.
o Or fuel cell.
o Or power electronics.
. You will develop solutions as well as the best possible process and product
costs independent of the plant and supplier, derive recommendations for
action, and represent them to management, plant and purchasing.
. You are responsible for the further development of processes and methods
of cost structure analysis for innovative manufacturing technologies and
development trends, identify cost drivers, analyze deviations and demand
measures to achieve goals.
. Communicate in a network: Active cooperation and coordination with the SE
teams to generate ideas and develop measures. Transfer of successful
solutions from other products.
. You support the evaluation of design variants, functional cost analyzes and
the early integration of benchmark results from competitor products,
represent your results towards the customer and in price negotiations with
suppliers.

Qualifications

. Personality: responsible, cost-conscious, convincing and assertive
. Working method: goal-oriented, proactive and analytical
. Experience and know-how: Experience in the development and / or
production of AE products as well as in cooperation with purchasing and
supply companies. In-depth knowledge of AE products in the areas of:
o Either plastic injection connectors.
o Or fuel cell.
o Or power electronics.
. Languages: Business fluent English and Mandarin skills, spoken and written
